Who Are We? Navigating Race, Class and the City

Fri 26 Nov 2021 - Sun 13 Feb 2022

This radical exhibition offers insights into young peoples experiences of race, identity and inequality in society today. Curated by Bollo Studios in South Acton, it includes film, sculpture, fashion, painting and audio that interrogate our social conditioning and understanding of race, class and the city.

Artworks on display include a new film, Bando, which explores the perceived lack of choice faced by marginalised young people; photographic portraits which examine how young people feel they are seen by others; and an audio installation giving voice to young peoples experiences of race and racism.

Works will also be on display in the Manor and there will be a listening and reflection space in the library.

The ticket includes admission to Pitzhanger Manor and Soane Restored.
